Siren's of Titan - Redux

This, like so many other entries, must be brief. We've got the worst wifi/internet connection imiginable - in fact, it cannot be imagined. We are in NYC, rented an apartment, and were guaranteed of wifi - for that matter, television reception - both are spotty - but none worse than the wifi - and it is the wifi that I NEED the most - without it, the blog cannot happen properly - and so, this must be brief. We are having a great time - shows, dinners, friends, relaxing, etc. - it could not be better (well, the wifi...) The thing is - this trip was about my partner's birthday - and I have to say - we love being together - all the time - we are extremely lucky to feel that way - and we know it. The fact that after 20 years, we still talk, animatedly, about all sorts of things, over dinner, while others around us sit in silence, getting through the drudgery of having to share yet another meal, is a testament to how connected we are to one and other - this is a very, very good thing. But! What I really wanted to mention here was the play we saw yesterday afternoon - it was based on the Goldoni, A Servant of Two Masters. But it was 'rejigged' to the 1960s and retitled, 'One Man, Two Guv'nrs' - or something like that. Anyway, it was unbielibly funny - in fact, it was the funniest thing I've seen in years. It reminded me of why I liked theatre to begin with - when stories are told well, yes, even those comedic, they are worth their weight in godl - in this case 'Gold-oni'! Ha-ha. And with that lame joke, I leave you, in order to return to Titan - because I have to go somewhere - and truth be told, this ridiculous connection may not even post this - and yet another day may be lost - but the writing still happened! And I am here to testify that it did!
